The successful candidate will:Integrate geologic, geochemical, petrophysical and geophysical data to delineate petroleum system elements and identify, spatially control and risk the associated prospectively fairwaysFormulate and implement work programs to address geological uncertainties and mature leads and prospects through the Upstream Asset Development ProcessCoordinate merging of regional and permit-specific interpretationEnsure interpretation of permit prospectively is consistent with Regional Exploration Team view
Attend and participate in technical meetings with joint venture partners and internal stakeholdersCoordinate and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
Key skills and experience required:Demonstrable experience working as Geologist, preferably gained from working in an operating companyDegree qualified in Geology or GeophysicsStrong skills and experience in regional synthesis, seismic exploration, geochemistry and seal evaluationProven track record in conducting semi-regional scale and prospect evaluations of hydrocarbon petroleum systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFocus on operational excellence and an incident and injury free environmentAccess to the Response Instructions for this position requires a subscription.
